Katerina Katmada

Research Assistant  – CERTH – Greece

Aikaterini graduated from the Informatics Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013 and completed the Master’s Program in Computer Science at the same department in 2015.
Her research interests include human-computer interaction (HCI), user experience design and research, models and evaluation of user engagement, affective computing for HCI, and computer games design, which can also be showcased by her BSc and MSc theses titled “Design & Development of a configurable educational game on Mathematics – Implementation & Evaluation in Primary & Middle school classrooms” and “Towards building an affective educational game framework: a proof of concept”, respectively.
In parallel, she is actively engaged with graphic design and the visual arts, holding her first solo printmaking exhibition in 2012. She works as a research assistant at the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas since February 2016.
